From sophisticated to laid back fun, the villa is primed for all forms of entertainment in a relaxing, private atmosphere.

You can try your hand at horse shoes or soccer on the beach area below the pool, or set up the volleyball net and watch the competition heat up. On a hot day, the pool area is a great location for water volleyball, Frisbee or just soaking up the sun in a lounge raft. Or enjoy a round of darts beneath the open-air rancho.

For lazy afternoons or cool evenings, you may prefer to retreat to the second floor entertainment room that includes a 42″ flat screen TV and DVD player with an extensive DVD collection and comfortable seating for six or more.

After hours bar service can also be arranged for cocktails after dinner, poolside or in the second floor open-air lounge area as you toast to the setting sun.

Fiesta time. – Your private bartender is on-site to serve up icy beverages at any of the public lounge areas in the villa. Sit by the sports bar off the main living area to catch the big game on our large flat screen TV, or head outside via secret tunnel to the swim-up bar. Lounge in the pool while the bartender mixes up a fresh tropical cocktail, or enjoy the shade of the Rancho at the adjacent dry bar.

WARNING! - With your beverage of choice in hand, the poolside, ocean view setting is so entrancing, you’ll find it difficult to motivate your group to explore the world outside the Villa!

Your bartender is on-site during all-inclusive serving hours, 11h00 until 19h00, but can also be contracted for after hour parties. If you purchase the All-Inclusive Plan, domestic alcohol will be available to self-serve after bar hours.

Carranza’s creative innovation and custom line of furnishing led to a unique living space that reflects its surrounding environment. She has turned Villa Buena Onda from a luxury home into a five-element sanctuary.

Not just a pool builder, Joan Roca is a water shape designer. He cultivated his art form in the pool design industry in his native home of Spain where he slowly climbed to the international spotlight. His company, AQUART, came to embody his eye for detail and ability to create pools that serve both a functional and aesthetic purpose. Because of his acclaim, Roca’s client list is as distinguished as his designs.

The Villa Buena Onda could have no other pool designer. Roca’s design blends seamlessly into the Guanacaste landscape, echoing the Pacific background and calling on natural stone to draw the pool out into nature, while remaining part of the villa.
